Mild Pain In Uterus. On Implanon. Sign Of Menstrual Cycle?
I am on the implanon birth control, it's been a month that I have been on my birth control. I had a regular period two weeks after the insertion. Now I'm waiting on my period which is supposed to come around this time. I also have mild sharp pains in my uterus on both sides. Could it be that I am starting my menstrual cycle or something more serious?
According to your clinical symptoms i suspect that it is more a menstural pain because miscarriages will be associated with symptoms like spotting etc. Progesterone implants prevent ovulation.
hello, You had implanon insertion 45 day back. You had your periods 15 days later to the insertion. Now you are expecting your periods anytime now. Currently you have pain on both side of the uterus. You like to know whether the pain is due to prior symptom of menstruation or due to the implant. Implant rarely cause abdominal pain. So this pain is due to the onset of your menstrual cycle. If the pain is not relieved after completion of the menstruation then consult a gynecologist. But I think that may not be necessary. Best wishes
