Mild Squeezing Sensation In Chest And Rib Area With Feeling Of Skipping Heart. Any Suggestions?
I am a 42 yr old male...and for the last month I have been experiencing some wierd mild sqeezing sensation in my far left chest and rib area...it all started when I was getting this wierd fullness right in middle just bellow my breast area...and was accompanied with some sharp pains around my chest area...but gas and burping seem to relieve that pressure and pain....so not having any medical insurance...I was forced to take matters into my own hands....I started taking magnesium and eating more chicken breast samon and added some fish oil and a 12-oz of seven up everyday...and I have to admit that pressure feeling is gone...but I still can feel that light to mild sqeezing feeling..and now im getting some palptation ,or heart skiping.'..

The symptoms as mentioned in your post suggest that it might be due to formation & accumulation of gas in the stomach.
However, investigations like an Electrocardiogram or Stress Echocardiography will be helpful to rule out any cardiac involvement.
Other causes can be:
