Milky, Watery Vaginal Discharge After Having Unprotected Sex. No Vaginal Odor. Need To Worry?

Well I noticed a milky, watery vaginal discharge and it really concerned me because I had unprotected sex. But I see now that it can just be my ovulation stage. I was really concerned because it was very excessive occasionally. I haven t really noticed any vaginal odor but occasionally I have vaginal irritation. Should I be worried?

Hello
Thanks for your query.
Profuse watery discharge around the time of ovulation is normal.
It should not be milky however.
Could be that you did not wash yourself properly after intercourse.
However, if the discharge persists for the rest of the cycle alongwith the irritation, it is better to have a gynecological evaluation, and rule out STIs specifically.
Protected sex is always safer for you.
Take care.
