Missed Periods. Was On Multiload For Two Years. Had Unprotected Sex After Removal Of Multiload. Side Effects?

on 2011,Nov month i inserted Multiload(freedom 5), and on 15th Oct,2013 i removed it because we want our 2nd baby. my last period was 7th oct 2013. After removing my multiload, we had unprotected sex. As my period is still missing, i am worried about it. What should i do? Is any side effect on Menstrual cycle after removal of Multiload?

Hello,
Irregularities in Menstrual cycle may continue for some periods even after removal of Multiload.
But it is not always.
As you missed your period, Please do Home pregnancy test and rule out any conception.
f this pregnancy test is negative then you have to wait for maximum 10 days for spontaneous period. If period does not occur even after 10 days, an ultrasound scan of whole abdomen becomes necessary. You can do the scan and then you can consult with a gynecologist for further management accordingly.
