Missed Periods, Had Sex With Withdrawal Method, Nausea And Headache. Chances Of Pregnancy ?
I was due on my period on the 28th of August but missed it (I saw a nurse and she put it down to stress or rapid weight loss as there was no chance what so ever of me being pregnant as I hadn't had sex since before my last period, on Saturday the 7th I had unprotected sex, used withdrawal method (yes, irresponsible I know) I took the levonelle morning after pill as soon as I could get it which happened to be around 65 hours after sexual intercourse, the next day I had extreme nausea and headache etc and now have developed a lump in my breast, is the lump likely to be linked with taking the morning after pill and what are the chances that I could be pregnant as it is too soon to take a test and I am yet to come on my period
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. Since your periods are overdue, the chances of pregnancy are there even if you used the withdrawal method. Taking the emergency contraceptive can also cause the delay in periods that you are having. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
