Missing Period After Giving Birth Of A Child

I am a mother of a one year old but I have yet to get my period and I'm not on birth control nor am I pregnant. I breastfeed him for six months. I'm 21 years old. Can you tell me what could possibly be wrong?

You should be checking up with your gyne doc again. If you are stil brestfeeding our baby, then not having periods is fine. But if you have stopped breast feeding, then a possibility of pregnancy cannot be ruled out.
