Missing Periods. Pregnancy Test Negative. Meprate Prescribed. What To Do Now?
Hi, My age is 31 and married. I was got period on 24 march 2013 and till date i m not get my period. I was did twice the pregnancy test at home and it was negative. Doctor prescribe me Meprate, which i had taken 5 days and also did ultrasound on 4 may ,which was clear. But still i m not getting periods. Please suggest what to do.
In exclusion of pregnancy, other investigations are required to pin point the diagnosis like thyroid profile, complete hormone assay, blood prolactin level & sugar etc.
You need to consult with doctor to proceed above investigations. You may require another course of progesterone medication for 10 days along with ovulation induction drug to induce period. Supportive treatment is also advisable.
Take healthy diet with iron supplement, control body wt by regular exercise, avoid stress, take sound sleep.
