I have mitochondrial metabolism disorder. I will probably have a colectomy with ileostomy soon d/t changes in testing of the colon muscle tissue. Also, a balance disorder from a central process abnormality in vestibular testing. The DNA testing was unable to "name the myopathy. Now, I have a trivial pericardial effusion..I just worry about the Docs not understanding how this disease progresses. Do you have any thoughts???
