Mucus Build Up In The Nose. On Nasal Spray For Allergy, Acid Reflux Medication. History Of Sinus Surgery
I have had this feeling like theres alot of mucus buildup in the back of my nose/throat for over 8 months it wont go away. ive been to the ent 3 times, ive been on nose spray allergy medication and acid reflux medication and none of them work. Ive never had this problem before and it seems to just constantly be there. its taking a toll on my life. I can breath in fine it just feels like theres something clogged at the back of my nose. I had sinus surgery 3 years ago and i havent had a problem ever since.. until now. please help. i can not stand this. Whats going on?

From your description, I understand that you are suffering from a chronic feeling of some blockage in the back of your nose (Nasopharynx as we call it).
The most common causes for such a feeling are,
1. Nasal cogestion due to a variety of reasons like, an allergy(allergic rhinitis), Chronic sinusitis etc.,
2. Deviated nasal septum.
3. Nasal Polyps.
4. Choncha bullosa. (Swelling of the nasal bones and the tissue on them).
5. Rarely, some kind of tumour.
The treatment in each condition is different and can only be advised upon examining you well.
Please do consult an ENT doctor again and get evaluated.

I have gone through your query regarding your problem of nasal mucous secretion which you are having for last 8 months. as you said you have been operated for sinus problem about three years back.
Considering your symptoms it appears to be an allergic problem but you are not getting response of nasal sprays reflects to think about some obstructive lesion in nasal cavity. To rule out this you are advice for these basic investigations-
(1) C.T. scan of paranasal sinuses.
(2) Diagnostic nasal endoscopy.
(3) culture and sensitivity of nasal discharge.
I hope above investigations will be helpful in making diagnosis of your problem which can be accordingly managed.
