Mucus Discharge While Urinating And Bowel Movement, Painful Cramp In Abdomen, No Constipation. Suggestions
Hi I have noticed over the past few weeks after i have a bowel movement that i have mucas dicharge this also happenes when i urinate also when i wipe i notice a lot of mucas sometimes with poo and sometimes clear
I get a lot of traped painful cramp like wind in my lower abdomin but dont suffer from constipation as i can go for a bowel movement 3 to 4 times a day
Hi and thanks for the query,
It shall be of utmost importance to exclude a gastrointestinal infection or some other metabolic or inflammatory process causing these symptoms. It would be important to know whether is any associated fever or not, blood in the poo or not and whether you feel any pain on urination. Are there any gas bubbles noticed in urine? This could be an indication of a urointestinal fistula. However, it is appropriate to get a precise clinical evaluation. A stool examination and culture, abdominal ultrasound. colonoscopy or rectosigmoidoscopy might be very appropriate. It think the condition is a bit delicate and booking an appointment with the gastroenterologist is the most appropriate thing to do.
Thanks and best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
