My 10-year-old Son Had Several Ear Infections (pseudomonas) Last Summer

My 10-year-old son had several ear infections (pseudomonas) last summer from May to July Eventually resulting in an eight week course of IV anabiotic's to treat. Fast forward to this summer where he has been to the doctor and treated for three infections Between May and now. At the last visit on Tuesday they took a culture which as of today has showed positive for Pseudomonas it will be tomorrow before they can tell it's sensitivity. What anabiotic's can trade this effectively and will IV anabiotic's be our only viable course of action in your opinion? He has had both eardrums completely rebuilt within the past three years as a result of holes from past tubes causing hearing loss. We opted not to put tubes in his new ear drums but now I am wondering if tubes would be our best option to avoid this in the future. Thank you in advance~worried mom
