My 10 Yr. Old Daughter Has A Dry Non-productive Cough

My 10 yr. old daughter has a dry non-productive cough that she can't get rid of. She was seen by a Doctor three weeks ago and was prescribed Prednisone for 7 days. She felt better after taking the Prednisone but the coughing spells haven't gone completely away. Any ideas?
