Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 10'year old son came home from school with his voice sounding strange. When I asked if he had a sore throat he said that wasn't the worst of his problems and curled up on the floor whimpering. He said his eye sockets were hurting all of a sudden and the light hurt his eyes. His temperature is 100 degrees orally and I've put him to bed. No neck pain, no stomach pain, etc. just the eyes and the throat. Should I call his pediatrician or just let him sleep?
