My 11 Year Old Granddaughter Jammed Her Middle (bird) Finger

My 11 year old granddaughter jammed her middle (bird) finger and ring finger during PE today. They are slightly swollen. Her PE instructor said not to move them. They can bend slightly and are obviously sore. Should we soak them or what. Seems too early for a wrap.
