My 13 month old grand daughter was dx with stage 3 pancreato blastoma, hyperinsulisim and simpson giliobi disease..She has successfully completed 4 rounds of chemo and her AFP has dropped from 500,000 to 248 post surgery and chemo. We are now having an impossible time balancing her blood glucose out. She is on a continuous g-tube feed and we have made several attempts a bolus feeds but after 30 minutes with out feed her bg drops to the 40-50 range. Corn starch is ineffective. Vanderbilt docs are at a lose on what to do next. any suggestions?
