My 15 year old daughter has had pain in her upper left side near her ribs for a long time. She had an exray and an ultrasound of her spleen which we are okay. I have an appointment with a gastroentorologist on December 1st but don't know if I should wait that long. Basketball starts next week and she wants to play but I am afraid it might be serious. She has a history of acid reflux and an innocent heart murmur. She says the pain is all over sometimes but her appetite has decreased. She has been going to school but can't imagine what it could be?
