My 2 Yr 10 Month Old Is Having Difficult Nights,

My 2 yr 10 month old is having difficult nights, GP said he has enlarged adenoids and has referred to ENT paediatrics but I’m still waiting for consultation
I am really struggling with sleepless nights as he wakes distressed and gasping at times and goes through phases of snoring and difficulty breathing, it is really stressful for us both

Is there any recommendation in the interim while I wait for this contact for ENT and i am concerned of the longer term effects of this poor quality sleep he is having presently
