My 20 year old college student is experiencing abdominal discomfort. She has had kidney stones twice in the last year and a half however, she says it does not feel like that. When I asked which side it is on she said it is her lower abdomen and it is all across not one specific location. She also said it hurts worse when she stands or walks. I'm not sure where to start since she is away and does not have immediate access to her primary care physician (who is also on vacation this week and not reachable via the computer). I could use some suggestions on where to start.
