Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I would guess hands foot mouth and butt disease. Sounds horrible, but really isn't that bad. My son caught it from a daycare and I thought it was chicken pox. Turns out the docter said it was a hands foot viral infection for short. The bumps don't actually hurt or itch your baby, but your child probably had a very sore throat and fever also (it goes hand in hand). It goes away in about two weeks or less, but your child is still contagious to other children for about two weeks after. Tylenol for the fever and sore throat is the temporary fix.
