My 34 Year Old Daughter Has Been Mixing Up Words

My 34 year old daughter has been mixing up words when speaking - i.e. "get me the fork from the bathroom" instead of 'kitchen' . She abused drugs in her teens & wonders if this is a result of the abuse. Unfortunately, I discovered, too late, that ecstasy was one of the drugs. I know that she has been clean for 14 years due to therapy & doctor but, she's now decided that she is showing symptoms of 'early dementia'..... Any thoughts ???
