My 4 And 1/2 Year Old Son Has Been Diagnosed

My 4 and 1/2 year old son has been diagnosed with enlarged anedoids. He has surgery booked in 4 weeks but we are due to fly the week before his operation. Is there any risk of his ear drums rupturing on the flight? I have been given instructions on pain management. Any other suggestions would also be appreciated. Thank you
