My 5 Year Old Was Diagnosed With Non Spastic Cererebral

My 5 year old was diagnosed with non spastic cererebral palsy last week. Is applying for ssi worth It? My house hold is under 2000 a month income wise. I do not want to waste time applying if he will just be denied. My 9 year old was diagnosed with eosiniphilc esophogitis earlier this year as well. Both children have severe allergies and learning disabilities a long with their diagnosis and both must be on gluten free and is costly to provide for their needs being disabled myself on a fixed income. Should I apply for Ssi for both children? I need help and don't know what to do.
