My 53 Yr Old Had An Acute Pancreatitis Attack. In

My 53 yr old had an acute pancreatitis attack. In hospital, lipase was measured at 22000. With IV fluids he was down to 5000. But stuck at these levels for 3 days. CT, MRI and ultrasound do not show any major obstructions. No gallstones. Bloodwork, aside from Lipase, are normal.
What could it be, can you help?
