My 65 Year Old Husband Has Reoccurring Bouts Of Gout

My 65 year old husband has reoccurring bouts of gout in the top and right of his left foot. PCP gave him a steroid shot and said Tylenol....he can't take NSAIDS. Any additional advice? he is 150 lbs. non smoker...non drinker. Got any additional ideas for relief. He's in serious pain.
