My 71 y/o uncle has a Hx of asbestosis as well as PMH of Heart Disease c 4 stents. He has had a nonproductive cough, hoarse voice, fever of 101.5, chills and rapid weight loss of 20 lbs. Ssx x 4 weeks.
Skin is pale and wtt. I am extremely concerned about his health. His Cardiologist thinks hoarse voice is from BP meds so he changed it to another med. Ssx are worse. I personally think he should be admitted. They finally did a CT after 5 CXR's. He has no appetite, decreased energy and memory loss. Please advise.
