My 90year old mother wakes up each morning very shaky...as soon as she eats a small breakfast, she is better. Her family dr says he does not know what is causing this. He prescribed Prilosec for her excess stomach acid which occurs each night when she tries to retire to bed...in May my sister took her blood sugar readings at the request of her kidney dr via telephone. Her fasting reading was 85, while her non-fasting reading was 103. Her kidney dr did not seem concerned with these readings. She was recently diagnosed with mild congestive heart failure and is now on an am and pm blood pressure medications.
