My BP Has Been Hovering Around 130/80 For The Past

My BP has been hovering around 130/80 for the past few years (and I'm on medication for high BP). I had a doctor's visit two days ago my pressure was close to those numbers (I don't remember the exact reading). I had a dentist's appointment today and he took my BP 3 times because it was very high each time (I think the highest was 170/100.

I've put in a call for my doctor to call me back tomorrow but what I want to know is this... should I go to the emergency room at my local hospital to see if they can give me something to lower my BP? Or, should I just wait until tomorrow if it doesn't get worse?

By the way, the only abnormal symptom I'm having is a very slight headache but I'm thinking it's due to the stress.
