My Mother Is 81, Was In The Hospital With Her

My Mother is 81, was in the hospital with her chf and copd. Also uti's and being dehydrated several times between 1/23/15 and now. She was going back and forth between the hospital, the rehab facility and a long term acute care hospital. Was still able to walk in March with a walker. Had to go into long term care section of the rehab facility because they said she wasn't progressing in pt. Now she lays in bed and they rarely get her up in a chair. She says she doesn't feel well enough to get up. She can no longer even stand with help, her doctor at the facility says she will never be able to stand again, let alone walk. I ask for a second opinion, but the doctor says we don't need one. Is there any hope of her ever standing with help. If she could stand so that I could help her into a wheelchair she could come back home to live with her family.
