My brother, who is 20, grew up as an active and always funny type of person. Socially interactive and loved to meet people. But now since he's been back from his 1st semester of college in Rochester NY, he rarely goes out. Prior to coming home, he was hospitalized for having hallucinations and sent to a mental hospital before my mother had to physically fly to NY and get him out because due to legal reasons they werent being clear as to what is wrong with him. And now im scared hes never going to be how he was again. What can my family and i do to help him regain himself again? I believe he was prescribed Risperdal if that helps anything
