My Cat Started Sneezing About 2 Days Ago And It

My cat started sneezing about 2 days ago and it has become excessive. I also noticed some blood/red by his left nostril. He is sleeping a lot but is eating. Wondering if cats can get a sinus infection? Thinking I should take him to a vet to be checked out? Or is it just a cold that can pass?
