My Chest Felt A Little Tight While I Was Working Out, Should I Worry At All?

Today and yesterday my chest felt a little tight while I was working out. It only lasted for a minute or two and went away when I stopped. I m only 19 and have no major health problems. I have been dealing with anxiety recently. I did have an abscess in my tooth recently. The reason I think that might be important is because I know that the health of your mouth is related to the health of your heart. Should I worry at all?

i am only a nursing student but the symptoms your experiencing do not sound related to the abcess. if you have severe anxiety sometimes you cant get enough oxygen to your heart because you are "stressing" out. that can cause palpatations or feelings like your heart skips a beat. My advice to you is when this happens 1. Stop and take a deep breath in and hold it 5sec 2. If you have anxiety medication take it. 3. take some more long deep breaths. usually this will cure the discomfort. Hope this helps!
