My College Age Daughter Was Diagnosed With Depression 3 Years

My college age daughter was diagnosed with depression 3 years ago. She does fine but recently she is feeling extremely tired, even after 9 hours of sleep. She got a blood test and they said she was low on vitamins D and B and to take those and check back in 3 months. I am worried that this is not enough to cause her to spiral like this. Will taking these vitamins really make that much difference? A friend also suggested she start drinking ginseng tea. I am really worried about her.
