My Cousin Is A Diabetic, One Leg, Still Has Sum

My cousin is a diabetic, one leg, still has sum vision , congestive heart failure. and goes to dialysis 3 times a week. When the doctors tell him his heart is no loger 85% but is now after recent stroke is only 35% .
I know this is not good but worst. But my question is to what extreme and depth does this mean?
