Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My dad is almost 87 years old, he is already taking the insulin shot with a pen. We just read his blood sugar level at 600. This is after increasing his dosage by about 15 points today. Earlier our family doctor's assistant is the one who told us to increase the dosage due to a high reading at a dr. apt. yesterday, and then he recommended to call our family doctor on Monday. Should we take any action now, or wait until Monday to speak with our family doctor?
