My Daughter Fell At College And Injured Her Knee. She

My daughter fell at college and injured her knee. She has had an x-ray which indicated no break. We then took her to an orthopedic dr who ordered an MRI. Got results back today and trying to decipher what they mean. Next ortho appt. isn't until next week. It says she has a subchondral fracture of the anterior aspect of the lateral tibial plateau with mild depression of the anterior articular cortex. There is the suggestion of an occult microtrabecuar fracture of the anterior aspect of the medial tibial plateau as well. Should she be walking on it?
