My Daughter Had A Colonoscopy Which Revealed A Cancerous Polyp

My daughter had a colonoscopy which revealed a cancerous polyp that was removed. She is having a ct scan tomorrow, but is worried about a swollen lymph node in the groin area and what it might mean. Is the ct scan likely to show any abnormality with the lymph node and should she be concerned. It appears isolated and not painful.
