My daughter has epilepsy problem till her 5 years. Sometimes with fever and couple of times without fever.. After 2 years gap we seen it around 2-3 months back. Currently her age is 8 years. We showed in NIMHANs in bangalore and suggested EEG, tablet OXELTRA 150MG(OXCARBAZEPINE drug) with slow start like 1/2 in the night for 3 days later two times per day like that.. EEG had appointment in Jan,2017 due to the rush in the hospital.

So we showed to some other neurology & pediatrician doctor in bangalore. She suggested MRI Brain & EEG. Reports are yet to come. But doctor suggested KEPPRA 250mg as daily morning 1 and night 1.

But we read lot of side effects if its not suite to the body or long run usage. both of them suggested we need to use it to 3-5 years and based on the reports need to see the medicine changes as well.
