My Daughter Has Gone Really Pale And Has Dark Circles Around Her Eyes And A Really Pore Eater
hi my names ivy its about my 3and a half year old for the last couple of months my daughter has gone really pale and has dark circles around her eyes and a really pore eater and just stared being hangry and agressive she also dnt sleep could she be joulous has I have jus had a baby also I forgot she has got red hair
Hi Ivyrusher,
It looks like your daughter has Iron Deficiency Anemia. Dark circles/paleness/anorexia/aggression/tiredness/lack of sleep/lethargy all are clinical symptoms of it. Is her height & weight normal for her age?
Please take her to a pediatrician & get a thorough check-up. They will give all the necessary medication & instructions. They may also DE-WORM her.
At home a high calorie diet rich in proteins is recommended. Greens, legumes, fruits & vegetables, milk should be given in plenty. If you are meat eaters then lean meat & boiled eggs should be included. Plenty of fluids- at least 2.5 ltrs per day is recommended.
After all the above changes will see a difference in her. Agreed that the new baby demands all your time & energy but having some exclusive mother-daughter time with your 1st born will work wonders!!
Thanks & take care
Hi Ivyrusher,
Its absolutely good that you are able to give attention to her.
Like said previously IRON DEFICIENCY Anemia is the most likely cause of all her issues.
A simple blood test will confirm this. Do take her to a pediatrician soon...Also DE-WORMING her will work wonders
Thanks & take care
