My Daughter Has Had A Fever For 3 Days. First

My daughter has had a fever for 3 days. First I thought it was teething. But she doesn't have a diaper rash, she isn't drooling, and she is not putting things in her mouth. She still eats and drinks good and has had normal wet diapers. Her fevers get worse at night, and during the day she just seems tired. We give her children meds to help with the fever. Today has been better, but my question has to do with these small redish dots on her cheeks, behind her ears, and on her back and stomach. None on her legs or feet. Is it a heat rash? She doesn't feel warm at the moment, and the house is cool with the AC, but the spots have not gone away.
