Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter is 24 years old, weigh 125 pounds and is 5'6. She is the athletic trainer for out high school so she is in good shape. The past few weeks her bp has been averaging 160/110. with pulse 100+. Her NP gave her a beta blocker and her bp dini't drop much but her pulse went to 42. She also had one pupil larger than the other but both reacting the same. She had a CT that was negative and saw a neurologist who did think something going on but out of his field. She was then referred to a neuro psych (which we still waiting for appt) and had a doppler renal artery ultrasound that was also negative. We are now referred to a endocronologist. I have also made her an appt with a cardiologist just to rule everything out. She is extremely fatigued all the time, whole body hurts and having some anxiety. Her BP now after starting beta bloker at 1/2 dose is averaging 135/95. She has seen an eye doctor and been ok'd there. Is there anything else we need to cover?
