My daughter is 5 months old. 5 days back she had discomfort in her abdomen.She was making gruntling sound and seemed as if she was trying to push something out or can say she had cramps. She wasn't cryiy but had too much discomfort. 2 days back she had blood in her stool. Doctor suggested stool test which showed pus cells 15-20 in.mucus. occult blood test negative. Today again she had little streak of blood in her motion. Now doctor has suggested taxim-o 1.5 ml two times for 5 days. Is anti biotic needed?
