My daughter of 7 yrs with 17 Kg developed Headache in the evening with gradual onset of fever at night to high grade around102-103 deg F along with vomiting and feeling of cold.Next day morning ICT Malaria,Typhi dot were negative and Urine DR was also normal.After start of treatment with inj.Rociphen 750mg IV BD fever subsided on day fifth.Fevere was high grade with gradual onset along with headache,non responding to antipyretics and fever had break in the day 2 and 3 for 4-5 hrs .Now the problem is either it was Viral or Typhoid and treatment given for six days.
