My Daughter Was Taking Bactrim For A UTI. She Developed

My daughter was taking Bactrim for a UTI. She developed a high fever and rash on her face and body. She started to feel better but had made an appointment to se her Dr. They ordered some blood work, and it came back dangerously low for platelets and neutrophils. They sent her to the ER. She ended up being admitted because of her compromised immunity. After 48 hours and her numbers recovering a bit (they gave her a shot of Neutrgen (probably not accurate spelling). She was told to recheck the blood work in 5 days. She felt totally fine during this period The morning she was to go back in , she developed another rash, different than the first one, but her bloodwork showed that her white cell counts were back to normal.

The DR thought the second rash was not likely related to the original condition. Right now it seems to be dissipating, but we are concerned that she has something bigger going on systemically. Thoughts?
