My daughter who is 8 years old and weighs 25 kgs has had cough, and a white tongue with fever (101-102 degrees) for three full days. This afternoon she also got loose motions three times passing green absolutely runny stool. She has not had anything green so it isn't a result of food.
4-hourly 8 ml doses of Calpol 250 mg was working until this afternoon but now it has been three hours and in spite of constant cooling measures, and keeping her hydrated it is not coming down from 102. Should I switch to ibugesic plus? How soon can I give it after the calpol (250 mg)dose of 8 ml? And how many ml?
