My Doctor Replaced Tamsulosin With Finasteride After I Fainted One

My doctor replaced Tamsulosin with Finasteride after I fainted one night. I believe it was due to also taking Cialis-5. The Finasteride is not working (been taking about 3 months). I still have the Tamsulosin pills from before. If I switch back to Tamsulosin, can I still take Cialis-5? If so, at what times of the day is it best to take both?
Thank you.
