My father, 90 was fit and in overall very good health until recently. He now apparently has glomerulonephritis. We are worried about kidney failure & death. I do not think he had a strep infection, but he had pneumonia last spring, and it was undiagnosed for a while...so it serms to be post-pneumoniccocal. He is very very weak, has edema in his legs. Can you make any pharmaceutical OR dietary recommendations to pursue? Seems dialysis or kidney transplant not viable options at 90.
