My Father Aged Around 90 Years Has BP 180/70 Early

My father aged around 90 years has BP 180/70 early morning and for which his doctor had prescribed Metosartan 50 MG and Mocsavas. 3 MG. After consuming the said medicines his BP starts dipping to around 70/40 by 1 pm. Is it safe. Later at night by 9 pm his BP is around 150/50. Again the same dose of medicines are given.
