My Father Could Not Get Up After A Fall And He Could Not Remember Anything. Could That A Sign Of Another Stroke?

Hi, my Dad had a stroke about 2 years ago. They caught it in time so he had no side effects. However, he does have high blood pressure and a racing heart beat from time to time. The other days he woke up very sick. Could not get out of the bed or hold anything on his stomach including water. He had a slight temperture and felt very ill. When he tried to get up he fell down on the floor and could not get up. Once my brother got him to bed he could not remember anything. He stated when he looked at familair things he could not remember who they belonged to. Could that just be virus or a sign of another stroke?

You need to visit a neuro physician and do MRI of brain for conformation of stroke attack.
How ever symptoms like not able to get up from fall and not able to recognize the familiar people and things can happen in mild to major stroke attack also. But it may also happen if the person is very weak and having high fever affecting the brain or injury to brain(head) with fall.
I suggest in any condition like this you should check the blood pressure immediately along with body temperature and then if every thing is normal then okey let the patient get relax on bed but if there is a fluctuation in it and patient is not abke to move hand and leg then need to visit a hospital for immediate treatment.
Also keep check on his blood pressure regularly daily morning because maximum stroke attack happens due to Hugh blood pressure in morning only.
