My father turned 83 yesterday. Post-bladder removal surgery with many complications, he is now sleeping 23 hours a day, is very hard to rouse, will not eat, but is on constant feeding tube. His hands are dusky blue; when we can wake him, his speech is slurred, often nonsensical. He has a crust around his eyes; this morning he projectile vomited lots of dark brown liquid. His Oxygenation is 90% on 4 L/hour oxygen; he is wheezing, and belly-breathing. Am I right to believe his death is immenient?
