Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My friend has a certain form of heart disease, at an advanced stage, that the Dr's keep postponing his surgery because they are certain he won't survive it. It's surgery to replace a heart flap. He has been bleeding from his mouth, nose, and ears. What does this all mean? Is this the final stage before certain death? The Dr's gave him less or about 5 years to live when he was diagnosed in 2014. Is the bleeding an indicator or sign of the last stages before death?
